Fast Facts

There is so much to do in beautiful Noosa and here are just a few of our recommendations:*

Breakfast & Coffee

On the next block along from the Anchor is Lake Weyba Plaza, where you can find the famous Little Cove Coffee Co, a super cool café offering delicious treats, open from 6.30am.

Next door is Jaspers Bakery, a good spot to enjoy a cooked breakfast on a budget, open from 6.00am.

If you like your coffee served with a view then head down to Noosa River where you’ll find T Boats Jetty with their beautiful coffee hut, right on the water.
Or, turn left at T Boats Jetty and you’ll discover a plethora of cafes all the way along Gympie Terrace, along the Noosaville foreshore. Our favourites are the well-established Grind and the newer Barefoot Grill.

Lunch or Dinner in Noosaville (all within a 10 minute walk)

Thai – Nisa Thai, on the next block at Lake Weyba Plaza
Modern Australian – Mr Jones & Me on Weyba Rd
Fish & Chips – Red Emperor on Gympie Terrace
Pub – the Villa Hotel in Noosa Village Shopping Centre
Pizza – Zachery’s on Gympie Terrace
Greek – Santorini Greek Tavern on Gympie Terrace
Italian – 250 Grammi on Thomas Corner
Mexican & Margaritas – The Mexican Joint on Thomas Street

Markets

Noosa Farmers’ Produce Market – Sundays 6am - 12pm (AFL Ground, Weyba Rd, Noosaville) for local produce at its best.

Noosa Marina Craft Markets– Sunday 8am – 2pm. There are some great breakfast spots too at the Marina, such as Café VinCino.

Eumundi Markets: world famous, enormous and fun with original arts, crafts and food. Wednesdays and Fridays and Saturdays 8am-2pm.

Walk the Noosa National Park

Drive to Hastings St, turn right at the Surf Club and stick left to the coast road as far as you can go. You will end up in the National Park Car Park. Take the blue coastal path – early morning is the best time. Ask us for more information!

Hit the beaches

Noosa Main Beach – the safest swimming: family-friendly, north facing and patrolled with cafes, bars and shops. Also, the busiest beach.
Noosa Groyne– a few metres west of Noosa Main beach; much quieter and more natural but unpatrolled.
Noosa Spit– west again of the Groyne; low tide reveals beautiful sandbars and pools.
Tea Tree Bay – a secluded bay about a 10-minute walk into the Noosa National Park.
Surfing – locals head out to First Point, east of Main Beach, famous for its long waves and the Noosa Surf Festival held in March.

A little retail therapy

Hastings Street in Noosa Heads is a famous fashion strip running parallel to the beach, choc-full of boutique shops – many of which are unique to Noosa - alongside some of the more well-known, quality brands. Check out Jojo, Eliza’s, Signature, Alterior Motif, Tommy Bahama, Witchery and Rodd & Gunn.

Noosaville has many little boutiques sprinkled along the foreshore. Head down to the river and wander along to discover fashion, interior and gift shops that are unique to Noosa.

Get out on the water

Noosa Ferry Classic Cruise – hop on or off at 7 stops along the Noosa River from Noosa Marina to Hastings Street - or stay on board for the 90-minute loop. See noosaferry.com for fares and timetables. Noosa Ferry also operates a daily sunset cruise and an Eco Cruise. Call 5449 8442 to book.

Hire a jet ski, stand up paddle, kayak, BBQ pontoon or boat from T Boats Jetty at 290 Gympie Terrace. Call 5449 7182.

Noosa Queen $10 sunset cruise – from Noosa Marina (follow the green footprints from the car park) call 5455 6661 as boarding times vary every day.

Beyond Noosa

Wildlife HQ is about 35 mins south of Noosa at the Big Pineapple. Feed the roos or book an animal experience to get really up close and personal.

Crikey! Spend the day exploring Australia Zoo: Steve Irwin’s beautiful 100-acre rescue and rehab wildlife sanctuary, about 40 minutes south. Ask us about deals and ticket deals.

Take the Aviary Walk at Maleny Botanical Gardens & Bird World and handle mischievous cockatoos and macaws!

Dingoes and whales more your scene? Take a trip up to Rainbow Beach, the Noosa Everglades or even Fraser Island. It’s much easier than you think so just ask us for details of either self-drive or guided tours when you check in.
